WildRescue/Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Currently, we are an all volunteer group, which mean that no one gets a salary for the work that they do. So when you donate to WildRescue, you can be assured that every penny goes to the care and feeding of the wildlife and rabbits we take in. Some of the costs that are covered by your donations include:
Rabbit pellets
Hay
Food and water containers
Medical supplies
Veterinary care (including spaying/neutering)
Repairs to the Sanctuary
On average, we run WildRescue/Rabbit Rescue on a yearly budget of approximately $10,000. As costs for everything have risen, food and hay along with medical care has also gone up. Because we work with several incredible and kind veterinarians who not only give us a special “price” for our spays/neuters and surgeries but also donate their time, we have been able to keep our costs down. Thank God for our friends! All other operating costs, such as cell phones, gas for our cars, printing needs, and this website continue to be paid for personally by our volunteers.
As we begin to implement our new projects, our budgetary needs will increase dramatically, which makes your continued donations to WildRescue/Rabbit Rescue even more important. With us, every penny counts and is accounted for. You can always contact me at WildRescue if you have any questions.
If all the beasts were gone, men would die from a great lonliness of spirit, for whatever happens to the beasts also happens to man. All things are connected. Whatever befalls the Earth befalls the sons of the Earth. - Chief Seattle
